ROTATIONAL BROWNOUT SCHEDULE JANUARY 7-13, 2013 |

The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) announced the
increased level of curtailment in Mindanao grid, declared at 290
megawatts, on January 7, 2013. With this, the three-hour rotational
brownout in SOCOTECO II franchise area will be implemented within the week. The three-hour period, assigned from 9AM to 9PM, may not necessarily
be exhausted if additional supply will be allocated to SOCOTECO II. As a
general rule, SOCOTECO II will maximize and dispatch any available power
supply from National Power Corporation and Therma Marine, Inc. Please find below schedule for January 7-13, 2013 and scale for the
duration of brownout based on declared level of curtailment.
